A rare family photo... Kenzie was plugging her ears because the band was playing.

Maddie's sign said, "My Dad Rocks." She wanted to put My Dad Rocks the House, but that would have used too many stickers. She told me that Dad rocks the house at his school, but I rock the house at my school... but she wanted to make a sign for her daddy.

The other side of Maddie's sign. She wanted her name on there too.

Walking back to the elementary with the big kids.
Her balloon bouquet was waiting for her when she got to my room.

Abigail, Gracie and Christin's very talented and creative mom made these adorable eagle cookie treats... how cute is that??? I took up close pictures too--like I will ever make them!

Maddie with her balloons after school.

Today was WILD at school... I think it was worse than the last day of school! The kids were wound up for sure! It is days like these that give meaning to TGIF!!
Now it is time to get ready for the game. More pictures to come...

I love these!! Looks like a great time. I just hope they won the game?? Do people still wear mums?? Everyone up here thinks I'm nuts when I've talked about them in the past. I think that must be a real TX tradition?!
Yes, we did WIN!!! Yeah!! We scored to get ahead with less than a minute to go... whew!
Yes, I should have taken pictures of some of the mums. They get BIGGER and more creative every year I think. Some of the cutest ones were hot pink, lime green, zebra print with feathers and all kinds of cute stuff... they were SO CUTE!!!
We didn't do mums this year. The girls never wear them, and I have to beg them to keep them on until we at least get to the game. They get excited about them, but don't like the extra weight. Definitely a tradition though!
Don't blame you on skipping the mums for them. Sounds like some really cute ones now! I think I still have some of mine from HS hanging in my closet at my mom's house!:)
