Redline Cheer and Dance Nationals
March 21-22
After the competition on Saturday, we went to the Tower of the Americas at Hemisphere park... it was RIGHT outside the door of the convention center. (We were at the convention center from 10-7...long day!!!)
It was a BEAUTIFUL day! Too bad we were inside all day! Nonnie and Kenzie explored all around the convention before Maddie's first performance (I didn't get any pictures of Kenzie out here... she wouldn't cooperate!)
Competition: Day 2
Their cheer team got 3rd place... they did an awesome job, but we had some really good competition.

Nastia Liukin was signing autographs at the competition... she signed Maddie's trophy!

Maddie opted for a new ds game...smart girl!
Kenzie was chillin' with her pig watching a movie...another LONG day!
Nastia Liukin took pictures with all the National Champion teams...
They have a little animal making booth on wheels... even more expensive than Build A Bear!!
But, Kenzie is a proud owner of this little piggie!
Nastia Liukin took pictures with all the National Champion teams...
1st place: National Champions!
Maddie is on the far left front...

They were staring at her in awe...

Showing off their HUGE jackets... they could have ordered a smaller size, but they wanted to get them right then of course!
After 2 longs days of being trapped inside (Saturday 10-7, Sunday 10-8), we took the girls to the Rainforest Cafe. I know we should have just headed home, but we hadn't eaten a real meal all day and the girls really didn't get to do much other than the competition. I knew they would sleep all the way home anyway...it was me that had to stay awake!

I wish I had taken pictures of all 4 girls piled up in 2 umbrella strollers plus all of our bags! I am surprised the wheels didn't crater! We were a sight, but those strollers were a life saver with all the walking we had to do!!
