Maddie had "a blast" in Kindergarten. I saw her about 10:00 when they were taking a restroom break. She told me "Kindergarten IS fun." (Like I had been just saying that for months to try to get her to go!) When we left school, Maddie was singing along to Hannah Montana. It was less than 5 minutes before she crashed! (I have a very similar picture from last year.)
Delanie starts 2nd grade on Monday and turns 7 on Tuesday...wow, the time has flown by!

Maddie and Brent...right after "breaking up." I am not kidding...they actually used the term! Wow, we have a long road ahead of us.

On Friday, we had Meet the Teacher from 4-6 and then our KPT (like PTO) rented Splash Station for Rio Vista Elementary. We had the whole park for our students, teachers and their families. It was very nice and the kids had so much fun.

After her bath tonight, I had to bribe her with Aladdin to get her to let me take pictures of her eye.
You can see her "Ariel" tan line in this picture. It isn't because that is the only swimsuit she has...it is the only one she will wear. If it is dirty, we go for Dora. I don't know how many swimsuits she has that she won't wear. I know there are at least 2 in her drawer with the tags still on them.
Beautiful (even with a swollen eye) Cinderella with her glass slippers. She was cracking me up sticking her foot out to pose for the picture.
When I was taking pictures of Kenzie's eye, Maddie wanted her picture taken also. She has red cheeks from an afternoon at the pool.
Enjoying our last fews days of summer! I have to go back to work next week...bummer.
My future Pop Star!
Kenzie decided one of Maddie's favorite skirts might look better as a dress...with the proper accessories of course! Maddie wore this skirt for her 4th birthday party, and after that, it became a favorite. It is just about worn out.

Playing in the Lost Lagoon... Maddie and Kenzie's favorite part of Sea World is the wave pool! We could have saved a lot of money and stayed closer to home! :o)
