Hangin' out at the Miller's

We had a high school friends get-together this past weekend. It was fun seeing people that I haven't seen in years!! We had a great time and the Miller's provided a great place and great food!

Yes, we have been out of high school for, well, a long time, and here we are cruising the drag in town!

Late night crew... Donna, Me, Lara, Christal, Roscoe, Tracy and Andrew was taking the pictures. The rest of the gang had already headed home... since it was 4:00 AM when we took this picture!

It was great to see Christal!! This is her last year in DC and she will be HOME in Texas... can't wait!

It was so much fun seeing everyone and catching up!

A Trip with Nonnie and Elizabeth

Nonnie met her friend Elizabeth in Waco to treat their granddaughters with a fun hotel stay... I don't know what it is about hotels but the girls LOVE them. That is what they talk about the most on every trip. They didn't know or care that they were only 30 minutes away from Nonnie's house... kind-of crazy to stay at a hotel so close to home, but Nonnie knows what her girls like!

(actually the movie was eaten by the DVD player in the room so they had to settle for some Hannah Montana)

The first thing they wanted to do at the hotel was go swimming of course! Elizabeth picked a hotel with an indoor pool so it wouldn't be so hot. The girls loved it!! Maddie wouldn't pose for a picture but here is Kenzie and Raelee. After a little swim, they headed for Red Lobster for dinner...the girls' favorite place!

The sad thing is... they probably knew where they were going better than the grandmas!

The zoo trip was pretty short because of the heat, but they got some fun things at the gift shop.

After the zoo, they went back to Lion's Park. They went the night before too, but Mom forgot her camera. I don't think they have updated this place at all in the last 25+ years. It looks the same as when we went as kids!
