It is a sad story...Lizzie destroyed "Mermaid". Kenzie doesn't know, and I just don't know how to tell her. She loved that swimsuit! We had gone swimming on Thursday after school. I had all of our swimsuits laying on the side of my bathtub. Friday morning, Kenzie pushed all the swimsuits into the tub except for hers...she had it proudly displayed. Friday night, Lizzie got it. I was just sick when I found it. Dustin told me it was just a swimsuit...and an old one at that. That is true, but it was a special swimsuit. Ariel will be missed!

OH NO!!! Poor Kenzie...I think that's the only one she wore all summer?! This is a tragedy in the Bates' household. Maybe you should have a ceremony or something??....you know, like on The Cosby Show when they had the fish funeral and flushed it down the toilet!:)
I know...it is terrible! Any time swimming was mentioned (and sometimes just because) she would put on her Ariel swimsuit. No others would do... I am just glad the swimming season is just about over! Maybe if we can make it to next summer, she will forget all about it. I did save it, but I just don't have the heart to show it to her.
