A Pet MOUSE??

Granny, the girls and I went to Azle to see my Aunt Connie, Cindy, Karen and her kids...Cheyenne was at school.

Connie had her school pet, a corn snake, home for the summer. Her neice, Mandy, had fed it a mouse from the pet store to eat...it normally eats frozen mice. Well, the mouse was in the cage with the snake for 3 days, and the snake hadn't eaten it. The mouse was picking on the snake...biting it! So, they called Mandy back over to get the mouse because no one wanted to mess with it. Mandy got the mouse out and since Connie lives in the country, they just let it go outside. The only problem was the mouse didn't run off! Well, it didn't take long for the kids to start playing with it, and for Connie to get a new pet!

It was definitely an exciting day...LOL!! And, if anyone is interested in a baby corn snake, the snake laid 14 eggs the next day!

Funny story... on the way home from Azle, Kenzie told me her foot was falling asleep. I told her to wiggle it around to wake it up. She said, "No, it's because you and Granny are talking too much." LOL!!
