Utah

Last week I posted on facebook a funny Maddie story...

On the way home from dinner, Maddie asked if Utah was a state. (She has been curious about Utah since her TOT performance at the TCU basketball game...they were playing Utah.) Dustin told her, "Yes, what's the capitol of it?" And her reply... "The U" It was so funny!! She was so matter of fact about it.

Well, Shelley, a girl I went to school with, happened to be in Utah on business. She sent me a message asking if I would like her to send a postcard to Maddie. How sweet is that!?! So, this week Maddie received 2 postcards from Utah! She was SO excited!! Dustin asked her who they were from, and she said "Utah!" Ha!!

She immediately put them in her folder so she could take them to school to show her teacher. Mrs. Dupre' was quite impressed that the postmark was actually from Utah...she was wandering how I pulled that off. Ha!
