Christmas Eve

And this is what our house looked like by the time we got home...

Lizzie was NOT impressed by the snow! She did not want to go off the porch so I had to throw her out in it.

Let the cookie making begin....

Cutest little chefs ever!

While the cookies were baking, we made the reindeer food...
I was washing dishes from the cookie mess and not really paying attention to the reindeer food making... guess I should have been! They were pouring the sprinkles into their mouths!

Green smiles!

Feeding the reindeer... in the SNOW!!!!

And back to the cookies... decorating time!

Getting ready for bed... reading "The Night Before Christmas"

Lizzie was completely worn out after playing with Rosie all day! She didn't move from this spot the whole night!

Milk and Cookies out for Santa

Saying good-bye to Charlie until next year...

Santa sent Charlie to our house right after Thanksgiving. It was so fun watching the girls react to having Charlie at our house!! As we read the story to the girls, you could see the excitement and wonder in their eyes...he is a magical elf! Charlie was the first thing on their minds as soon as they woke up each morning...hunting for Charlie was the first thing they did each day. (Every night he flies to Santa to report and then lands in a different spot for the next day.) It was so funny when Kenzie would get in trouble... she would say "Sorry Charlie" Too cute!! They would often remind each other, "Charlie is watching." or "Charlie can hear you."

A look at some of his spots we found him in...

He made his way to every room in the house several times... I think he was running out of ideas!

Waiting for Santa...
