Maddie's 7th Birthday Party

This is the first year Maddie's party hasn't been on the weekend before or after her actual birthday. There was just SO much going on this year! I guess it is better late than never... I just feel bad because even now, over a month later, it was still just thrown together last minute. I didn't get invitations sent out like I normally do and left several kids off the list that I wish would have been invited. I just invited her class and cheer team, and a couple other close friends...the week of the party! Anyway... it turned out fine, and the main thing, it is done!

Am I a cool mom or what?!? I let them decorate their own cupcakes...planned it that way the whole time...yea, right! On top of the other firsts for this party, this is the first time I didn't order a cake. I was making cupcakes about 11:30 Saturday morning and ran out of time to decorate them! They loved it though... may have to try that every year!
