Getting the tree up was a weekend long process... I was just so tired from an all-night shopping trip that I just couldn't get moving! We put up Maddie and Kenzie's tree on Saturday afternoon and got it decorated... I need to take pictures of it. We put up the big tree Saturday evening, but didn't start decorating until after church on Sunday. The girls were really into decorating this year. Maddie has really been in the Christmas spirit this year! It was so hard for me to just let them put the ornaments where they wanted... the bottom is a little ornament heavy, some branches have more than one ornament. BUT, I restrained myself and just let them go. It really turned out fine, and they are so proud of it.
Kenzie doesn't stay dressed for long... yes, it is December and yes, she is wearing a swimsuit!
A couple of Fridays ago, the girls went to a basketball game with Dustin. He said they were sitting on the front row, center court. They were just watching the game when he looked down to see Kenzie's shirt on the floor, her shoes and pants on the floor... she had stripped down to her swimsuit that she had on under her clothes. She was just sitting there kicking her feet watching the game... in her SWIMSUIT!! I would love to have a picture of that... and the look on Dustin's face when he noticed it! Too funny!!!

Watch out! Maybe she wants to grow up and become a swimsuit model!! Then she can wear it all the time!! hehehe
She is sooo cute...great story!! Yep, I had some issues with Layla's decorating skills this year also...it's so hard. I think our tree is going to tip over due to an over abundance of ornaments!!
I am proud of you for letting the girls decorate without redoing the tree! Did Kenzie think there was a swim meet after the basketball game?
OMGosh! I was cracking up at Kenzie in her swimsuit...and then to read about the basketball game!!! HAHA!! Too funny!!!
