The Sunday before Easter is the "Eggnormous Eggstravaganza" at Beaumont Ranch in Grandview. This is our 3rd year to go to it. It is really a fun day with lots of activities and TONS of eggs and toys to hunt.

Where's Kenzie?

Maddie and Kenzie were being very particular about what went into their baskets... Kenzie wouldn't put ANY of the plastic eggs into her basket. She opened up each egg to check out the contents before deciding if it went into her basket or back onto the ground. She didn't end up with a very full basket, but it wasn't because there wasn't plenty to pick up. Maddie wasn't much better...she was picky about what went into her basket also. They both got more than enough though!

Kenzie ended up hunting eggs in the 6-8 age group because we got there late and missed her time. It wasn't really a big deal because there were PLENTY of goodies for everyone. I have never seen an egg hunt last so long, but the ground is just covered.
You can tell it was a little windy...
The kids had a blast in the petting zoo...it was probably their favorite part of the day. There were little ponies, goats, pigs, bunnies and even a baby zebra to pet.

I am pretty sure this was Kenzie's first time on a horse (yes, this is something I should probably remember but don't). She wasn't scared at all, but by the time they came back around she was almost laying down on the saddle holding on, but still loving it. She said it was a bumpy ride!

Sorry it's taken me so long to respond!! It's been nuts here. Anyway, I LOVE the pics with all the animals...especailly since they're all dressed up! Too cute.
